Plot

During Korea’s liberation from the Japanese occupation, six explosions go off in a huge stone mansion. NAM Do-jin (KIM Joo-hyuk), master of the mansion and the richest guy in town, is arrested by the police on the accusation he has murdered his driver CHOI Seung-man (KO Soo). However, the victim’s body is not found, except for burning trace, bloodstains and a severed finger. A fierce legal battle begins between prosecutor SONG Tae-seok (PARK Sung-woong) who tries to prove NAM’s guilt and lawyer YOON Young-hwan (MOON Sung-keun) who is sure of victory for the murder case’s lack of evidence.




Meanwhile, famous magician LEE Seok-jin (KO Soo) suffers from the sudden death of his beloved wife JUNG Ha-yeon (IM Hwa-yeong) but after investigation, soon discovers that it was a murder. He chases the murderer for revenge only to find out that his planned revenge and the seemingly unrelated court case are intertwined in an unexpected way.
