Plot

Sindo is a small peaceful island in 1976. An invitation letter came to this island as a reply to the letter sent to a confectionary by teacher En-yeong who wanted to show her little students a new world! The children's hearts begin to beat in excitement to hear that all 12 students in the school are invited to the confectionary in Seoul. On hearing the news, people in the village oppose their school excursion because of their poor family conditions at first, but they start to gradually open their minds after looking at their children working hard to make money as well as their teacher En-yeong's efforts. Eventually, the Sindo Branch School's first school excursion begins. Everything is new to the children. How marvelous! How wonderful! Seoul looks like an amusement park to them. But even in the middle of such excitement, Gil-soo (Yoo Seung-ho) often remembers his mother because the address of the letter sent by his mother who left home a few years ago is Seoul. His mother is somewhere in this complicated Seoul....
