Plot
Park Gu (Shin Koo), who is approaching 70 years of age, earns a scanty living by collecting waste paper every day. He lives with a granddaughter, Da-seong who depends on him only without her parents. Even so, Park Gu is deprived of the amount of money he has collected little by little by Choon-sam (Kim Yeong-ho), his son as well as Da-seong's father, who has suddenly appeared after being released from prison. As a result, he has to lead a harder life. Moreover, even his handcart, the only means of earning a living, was broken during a row between the demolition crew trying to start house removal and the residents struggling to stop it. Now Park Gu doesn't know how to earn a living. He decides to get compensation for his broken handcart by all means. He rushes with her granddaughter, Da-seong to the house of the real estate developer Gap-soo, which is the starting point of house removal. But Gap-soo and his family have already left on an overseas' tour, and there are now only a house caretaker called 'Dong-hoon' and a dog worth tens of millions of won, which Gap-soo and his wife cherish. Then Park Gu and his granddaughter sneak into the house. 'Dong-hoon' wants to retaliate against Gap-soo for his personal insult and begins to put anti-tick pesticide in the beef ribs used as dog food in order to gradually kill the dog. Gap-soo, who doesn't know this, secretly steals the beef ribs to be given to the dog and gives them to Da-seong who likes meat...
