Plot

An Underground Market The sun is still up but the market is dark as a cave. There are light-bulbs hanging like fruits. A middle aged woman is staring at the different types of fish already cleaned up. The quick hands of the man scrape up the scalps and cut out the fins. The blood of the fish licks into the cracks of the wooden chopping board. As the man cuts the fish and gets rid of its intestines piece of fish sputters onto the ladys white blouse. The red blood blots on. The market floor is wet from fish ooze form fish boxes, and the fish are glossing from the lights. Misses white socks get wet and dirty. .... A very hot summer day It is an afternoon in a residential street. She is hurrying herself. The afternoon sun is very strong on the asphalt street. She is carrying a heavy load of shopping basket up the street. For a second she fall into a sleep, but she also looses her watermelon. .... Inside a very old traditional house She is back and extremely tired from the market. As she puts down her shopping basket and takes off her dirty black socks, her bitter and perverse mother in law begins to scold her. She hurries to prepare food. The mother in law does not stop meddling even when she is busily nipping off different vegetables. It is evening. In the kitchen something is boiling over and she fell a sleep while she was peeling some garlic. One of the doors is opened. Her father in law is watching her in darkness as she is sleeping. ....
