Plot
Two men with the same name are injured severely in an elevator accident, and are delivered to the hospital together. The old saying, "beauty is only short-lived," holds sadly true in this case: the good looking Shin Seok-ki is in a coma, but the ugly Shin Seok-ki recovers from the accident. But appearances can be deceiving; what in fact has happened is that the two men's bodies were switched. Once out of the hospital, the recovered Shin Seok-ki finds it hard to adapt to his new identity. Once a legal consultant for a powerful corporation, he now finds himself barely getting by as a public defense lawyer. His tiny office only gets crummy cases with no real money in them, and because of his looks, his few cases are drying up. His presumptuous secretary, Shin-e, acts as if she were his wife, and the neighborhood store owners meddle in his life. Hungry, cold, and despairing, he attempts suicide, but his body won't give up so easily. One day, a money case walks in the door. But the client happens to be a woman named Seo Jin-young, who had been unjustly fired by the "old" ShinSeok-ki! The woman, of course, does not recognize her former employer in his new body, and with a view to collect Jin-young's settlement, Shin Seok-ki begins to now truly take on the role of a public defender.
