Plot

There is a man who starts his day by dumping his trash in front of a cathedral in the early morning. This is the famous miser Seon-guk. He never had a girl friend in order to save money; he doesn’t turn on the boiler in the winter and instead wears two layers of underclothes; and still uses a beeper instead of a cell-phone. He is a novelist, but has seen no progress for months now. One day a woman comes to his house, saying she has rented the room upstairs. Tight curly hair, flashy clothes - she introduces herself as Hwa-jeong. She delivers coffee on a small motorcycle, and has wandered all across the country following the spring breeze. She was invited as the “sales manager” of a coffee shop in the outskirts of Seoul, Seon-guk’s neighborhood. For Seon-guk, nothing is going right and Hwa-jeong is making things even more complicated. His principles in life that he has adhered to all this time are being broken one after another because of her. She invites her friends to have parties and make noise, turns on the boiler and uses a lot of hot water, and even his literary student is starting to get influenced by her. How will Seon-guk stop the breeze Hwa-jeong is stirring up?
