Plot
Hyun-soo, a video journalist making a documentary about death, films Yoo-jin, a dying patient at a hospital emergency room. There she runs into an old elementary schoolmate, Ji-hoo who is Yoo-jin's fianc`e. Ji-hoo's distress and sorrowful eyes remain with Hyun-soo long after their meeting. As she mulls over her engagement to Jin-sung, she receives an unexpected call from Ji-hoo. Ji-hoo expresses a strong pain and rage for Yoo-jin's death as Hyun-soo watches her death with him. Their meeting seems to have been pre-destined. Hyun-soo remembers Ji-hoo from her childhood. Ji-hoo tells her that Yoo-jin took her own life after suffering from unrequited love towards another man. Hyun-soo finds herself feeling compassion toward Ji-hoo's suffering.
