Plot

Ae-ri expresses her sorrow and pain through the medium of performance art. Although the memory of her dead boyfriend Min-woo haunts her, she, along with her passion for art, pursues the lifestyle of a liberated woman. In-cheol, a selfish and hypocritical sculptor pretending to be an artist, Myung-sik a photographer who cannot escape the boundaries set by his widowed mother and Ho-yeol a psychiatrist who claims that patients need freedom from obsessive thoughts and confinement but actually exercises these attitudes himself, are all attracted to Ae-ri. Ae-ri enjoys each man's company but becomes doubtful of fixed ideas of sex and feudalistic values cannot seem to settle on any of them. She escapes them all to settle in her own world of creativity and art.
