Plot

Ji-soo is adopted into a household in the country where life with his new step-sister, Ji-hae, turns him into a rebellious and sensitive boy. Ji-hae goes to a college in the country, majoring in art. As she is separated from him, Ji-soo's love for her grows more pressing. Kyung-ae tries to win Ji-soo's heart but she hits the wall of Ji-hae and eventually turns to the drug, hiroppon. Ji-soo announces his intention to marry Ji-hae and is met with the wrath of both parents. He is thrown out of the house. Ji-soo ends up working at the same bar as Kyung-ae. Ji-soo is determined to save Kyung-ae from the control of the bar owner. Their confrontation turns violent and Ji-soo ends up stabbing the owner. Ji-hae ends up in a mental hospital because of her forbidden love for Ji-soo. On the day of Ji-soo's release from jail, Kyung-ae marries an evangelist. He returns home uneasily when he meets Ji-hae….
