Plot

Lee Keun-hwa was born in Sunchun, North Korea. After the January 4 Retreat during the Korean War, she marries a black officer despite her parents' disapproval. She lives in Hawaii where she gave birth to Anthony and Julie. Anthony grew up being teased for being of mixed blood and under the misunderstanding that his parents' relationship was impure. He becomes the head of a gang. After her husband's death, Keun-hwa volunteers at a church as her faith grows stronger. In order to rescue her son from evil, Keun-hwa and Minister Kim work hard, willingly taking on any danger. Through his mother's sacrifice and earnest prayers, Anthony repents. He is reborn and devotes himself to helping others.
