Plot

At the end of the Goryeo Dynasty, after Gueen Noguk passed away, King Gongmin, who used to be very focused on ruling the nation, entrusts the leadership of the nation to the monk Sindon. King Gongmin devotes himself only to Buddhist practices remembering his late Queen Noguk he loved so dearly. But Sindon who loved women, indulges in obscenities, and the discipline of the court deteriorates to an extent. Hong Yun has an affair with one of king's wives and has a baby. The king, afraid of a scandal tries to kill a witness, Choi Man-saeng, but the king gets killed instead.
