Plot

A poor farmer couple, who barely manage to stay alive eating coarse and miserable food, go to a city with their children to find a better life. They wander around the cold-hearted city. After the wife dies of illness, the husband dies of pent-up anger. A brother and a sister are separated. As time passes, they grow up to be adults. They fall in love with each other without knowing that they are siblings. They realize this just before they spend a night together. So the brother gets married to the sister of a friend of his, and his sister gets married to another friend of his, hoping for a happy future.
