Plot

The gisaeng (geisha) of Namwon, Wall-Mae's daughter Chun-hyang (Jo Mi-ryeong) and Master (Lee Min) love each other and promise to get marry, but Lee leaves for Hanyang, the capital of Korea. The newly appointed magistrate Byeon Hak-do (Lee Geum-ryong) wants to have her, but because she resists to the end, she's imprisoned. Meanwhile Lee passes the state examination and becomes an undercover agent of the king and is dispatched to Namwon. There he accuses Byeon as a corrupt official and rescues Chun-hyang.
