Plot

Jip-gil and Young-pal are college alumni from the same class and also brothers-in-law. While Young-pal is a communist, Jip-gil is a second lieutenant in the military, and they both try to persuade each other. When the Yeo-Su Rebellion takes place they brutally confront each other as enemies. When Jip-gil tries to persuade Young-pal to give up his beliefs, Young-pal aims his gun at his chest and ends up shooting him to death. It shows how brutal a communist can be by killing his own relative.
