Plot

Young Seong-bo and his wife leave their hometown in search for a better life and after 20 years of tears and effort, they finally become wealthy. Their eldest son, Cheol-soo, takes after his father and diligently looks out for himself whereas their younger son, Cheol-min, has his mother worrying about his reckless lifestyle until the minute she draws her last breath. When their fortunes begin to ebb, the father takes off with nothing but small bundle and leaves a letter forwarded to his two sons. The letter shocks some sense into the two sons and with tears in their eyes, they vow to start anew.
