Plot

At the bank of Daedong River, brightly lit by the moon, Lee Su-il and Shim Sun-ae sit in silence gazing at the moonlight. After promising to love each other until death do them apart, Sun-ae has suddenly decided to marry the son of the richest man in town, Kim Jung-bae. Su-il vows to do everything in his power to make money and gets hired by a credit shark. Meanwhile, Sun-ae falls deadly ill, unable to erase Su-il from her mind. Upon hearing her news, Su-il runs over to her side and the two promise to start anew.
