Plot

Homicide detective Jeong Jae-gon (Kim Nam-gil) is a detective who stops at nothing to catch a criminal. He is chasing after a suspect named Park Jun-gil (Park Seong-ung) in a murder case. The only lead to his suspect is Jun-gil’s lover Kim Hye-gyeong (Jeon Do-youn), who is a madam at a third-rate bar. Jeong goes undercover and becomes the floor manager at the bar Macao where Kim works, and watches her every move. But as Jeong spends more time with her to catch Jun-gil, he sees the loneliness, tears, and innocence of Hye-gyeong beneath the decadent and harsh madam appearance. His only goal and resolve to catch the suspect strangely becomes shaken without understanding his own feelings towards Hye-gyeong. On the other hand, Kim waits tirelessly for her lover to come back to her, but she begins to open up to Jeong, who is always by her side.
