Plot

Story: A project to produce the French SF comics "Le Transperceneige," which received the grand prized in the 1986 Angoul?me International Comics Festival, into a movie under the direction of Director Bong Jun-ho. In the original work, in Earth, which becomes very cold due to sudden temperature drops in the era of cold war, the snow piercer wherein room heating and food self-sufficiency are possible becomes the only places for survival. This film contains a unique social message by showing that, whereas liquors and even drugs are rampant in passenger cars ridden by politicians and celebrities, general citizens struggle to obtain food in their passenger cars.
