Plot

HAN Dae-hee (YOON) is living a charmed life as a seventh-grade civil servant in Seoul’s Mapo district. He has a nice work schedule, respect at the office and an adequate salary. His secret? Don’t get too excited. Day in and day out he watches his co-workers pushed to wits end by their constituents’ obnoxious complaints and ludicrous requests. Coasting through a measured existence, Dae-hee’s philosophy hits a road bump when he is forced to evict a loud and raucous indie band from their practice space, only to have them end up finding a new residence in his own basement. Dae-hee now faces a challenge: will he let the band try to rattle his cool demeanor and finally allow himself to get ‘dangerously excited?’

KOO Ja-hong made his directorial debut with 2004’s , which screened at that year’s Fukuoka Asian Film Festival, Sidney International Film Festival, and Busan International Film Festival. is his second feature.
