| Segment 1 - Korea. He is rich, talented, and kind-hearted. He lacks nothing in life and is a successful film director. One day, a man breaks into his house. He is trapped in a movie set that looks exactly like his house. The intruder says he had done it just because the director is kind-hearted. He had brought a child with him and tied up his pianist wife with piano strings. He threatens to cut his wife’s fingers if the director doesn’t kill the child. His wife’s fingers, or the child’s life - which should it be? The director finds himself entangled in a horrific dilemma.Segment 2 - Japan. The two sisters Kyoko and Shoko are members of the circus. Kyoko is jealous of Shoko for dominating the love of her surrogate father Hikita. She wishes her sister would go away, and ends up killing her in a fire by accident. She is now thirty. One day she receives an invitation card with her sister’s name on it. Secrets that had stayed uncovered for years is now about to be revealed.Segment 3 - Hong Kong. Qing used to be a famous actress when she was young. She is now a lonely middle-aged woman who discovers that her husband is seeing a young woman, which consumes her with a desire to get young. She stops by Mei’s dumpling shop where the dumpling is said to bring back youth. After days of having the dumplings, her wish comes true. But later she finds out that the dumplings were made of fetuses of babies who had been aborted. However, she is already addicted to the dumplings and she has to find bigger meat. |
