| A film depicting a life of misery of a Korean orphan adopted by a Swedish family. In 1966, four year old Susan arrived in Sweden, Everything seemed very strange and different from what she knew before. Her new mother treats her very poorly and abusively. Once, Susan even tried to kill herself, but without success. At 18, she moves into a high school dormitory. She meets and falls in love with a boy named Christie. They share their bed together and a year later Susan ends up as an unmarried mother. When her daughter is three she meets another handsome young man. Again she falls in love only to result in another tragedy. Suicide seems to be the only answer. |
