| This si a social melodrama which introduces the plight of a young intellectual following his own path of conscience and a girl seeking to be a prima donna. Sun-young, a female vocal music graduate, prepares to depart for Belgium to further her studies. One day, her one-time tutor, Sang-joon, introduces her to an older friend of his, Min-su. Subsequently, Min-su rents the attic space of Sun-young's house to hide from the police for a political offense he committed. Sun-young and Min-su have frequent contact with each other and they soon fall in love. Finally, they decide to secretly marry and Sun-young gives up her idea of further studies abroad. They must start their mew marriage completely on their own as they are forced to hide from their families and the police. |
