| For Mrs. Hong, the quintessential woman, her daughter, Na-mi, is everything so she is overprotective of her. Na-mi is preparing for the college entrance exam. One day, after meeting with her lover, Mrs. Hong is late in meeting up with Na-mi. But Na-mi is nowhere to be seen. Mrs. Hong ultimately finds Na-mi in the red district. She has gone through much hardship and is quite battered. Mrs. Hong is horrified but accepts the harsh reality and protects Na-mi. But Na-mi is unable to overcome her shock and kills herself. Filled with guilt and rage, Mrs. Hong seeks the men who had violated her daughter and has her revenge. When her revenge is done, Mrs. Hong stands before a court of law. |
